Our history

Pleven Branch health clinic Academica was opened in 2008 in response to the growing needs of specialized outpatient care in neurology in Pleven Municipality and the neighboring cities – Lovech, Svishtov, Gabrovo, Ruse.

The team consists of university-based neurology specialists who have been working at the center since its opening.

It is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools for brain diseases and disorders of the cerebral arteries, peripheral nerves and muscles.

Highly specialized therapeutic procedures are performed – botulinum toxin injection and nerve blocks under electromyographic and ultrasound control.
