Dr. Dimitar Kirov

He graduated medicine in 1982 from MU-Pleven and obtained a speciality in psychiatry in 1987. He is a chief assistant professor and a specialist in psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry and Medical Psychology of MU-Pleven. Dr. Kirov has a professional qualification in clinical electroencephalography. He possesses extensive professional experience in the field of encephalographic research in childhood and neonatal age. He has been working in the branch of the Pleven Center since its foundation in 2008.

Special interests in Alzheimer’s disease, memory disorders, sleep disorders, functional neurological disorders, depression and anxiety.
