Dr. Stoyanka Vuchkova

She graduated higher education in medicine at MU-Pleven in 1982. She specialized neurology in the Clinic in Neurology of Dr. G. Stranski University Multi-Profile Hospital for Active Treatment, Pleven from 1983 to 1989. She acquired a speciality in neurology in 1989. From 1982 to 1988, she worked as a general practitioner in the village of Lenkovo ​​and Gulyantsi, Pleven Municipality.

For many years Dr. Vuchkova worked as a specialist neurologist in the Second Diagnostic-Consultation Center – Pleven. In 2007, she was employed in the Ward in Neurology at Military Medical Academy Multi-Profile Hospital for Active Treatment, Pleven. She joined the team of Akademika Branch Pleven since its opening. In 2010, Dr. Vuchkova acquired a professional qualification in clinical electromyography. Specialist neurologist with rich clinical experience in patients with epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, radiculitis, neuropathies, memory disorders.

Main interests in epilepsy, clinical electromyography, peripheral nervous system and muscle diseases, back pain, sleep disorders, memory disorders, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis.
